Bob Lemoine

Insppector ImageBob Lemoine, the owner and operator of The Residential Inspector of America, has extensive industry background and knowledge.  He owned his own home building company in Louisiana prior to founding The Residential Inspector of America in 1989.  Bob has over 30 years of industry experience, and is an ASHI, ICC and EDI certified inspector, as well as a certified termite inspector.  Bob is also a Level I Mold Assessor and certified Mold Remediator.  He has completed training courses offered through Hometest Laboratories and is a member of the Indoor Air Quality Association.  Bob has personally trained each of his inspectors, ensuring that they provide top quality inspections that are characteristic of The Residential Inspector of America.  Currently, Bob conducts informational presentations to local real estate offices teaching agents about "hot topics" facing the homebuyer today.  While Bob no longer performs inspections, he manages his team of top-notch, quality inspectors and oversees business operations.

Todd Lemoine

Insppector ImageTodd Lemoine, Bob's eldest son, has a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Polytechnic University in Construction Management.  He is an ASHI, ICC, and EDI certified inspector.  Todd is IBC certified for commercial properties and is a  Certified Pool Operator (CPO) which allows him to perform Pool and Spa inspections as well.  He is also a certified termite inspector.  He is a professional member of the Southern Building Code Congress and the Georgia Associations of Home Inspectors.

Mike Ambrose

Insppector ImageMike Ambrose served as an architectural designer for nine years before joining The Residential Inspector of America.  He has experience designing residential, commercial, and institutional site areas and has worked in numerous construction administration positions.  Mike has a combined total of nineteen years of experience in the industry and is an ASHI and ICC certified inspector.  He is also a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) which allows him to perform Pool and Spa inspections.  Mike is also a certified termite inspector.

Rob Lemoine

Insppector ImageRob Lemoine, also Bob's son, has a degree from the University of Georgia.  Rob has been an inspector for over nine years, and is an ASHI, ICC, EDI (Exterior Design Institute) and Moisture Free Warranty certified inspector.  While he conducts all types of inspections, he is considered The Residential Inspector of America's expert on hardcoat and synthetic stucco.  Rob is also a certified termite inspector.

Chris Kanady

Insppector ImageBefore joining The Residential Inspector, Chris worked for a residential and commercial sheetwork company for 10 years.  He then joined a realty company where he was the manager of field operations for 3 years, covering 700 apartments and 40 homes in the Athens area.  Chris has a degree from Piedmont College.  He trained extensively under Todd and Rob Lemoine, is member of ASHI and is an ICC Certified inspector.  Chris also conducts stucco inspections, and is a certified termite inspector.

Carey O'Kelley

Insppector ImageCarey O'Kelley is originally from Griffin, GA.  Before joining The Residential Inspector of America, Carey was employed with Delta Airlines as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician.  He received his BS in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.  His main interest in home inspections is structural analysis and he plans to pursue his PE license in the near future.  He trained extensively with Rob and Todd Lemoine.  Carey has completed the testing requirements for ASHI and is working towards his ICC certifications.

Jesse Brown

Insppector ImageJesse Brown earned a BS in Industrial Engineering and MS in Industrial Administration from Purdue University.  He spent 25 years in manufacturing and worked for General Electric, Alcoa, and Corning.  He has a family history in roofing and HVAC contracting.  He moved to the Atlanta area in 2004 from Pennsylvania and operated his own home inspection company before joining RIA.   Jesse is an ASHI and an ICC code certified inspector, as well as a certified termite inspector.   Jesse also conducts Continuing Education classes for The Residential Inspector.
