THERMAL IMAGING/INFRARED INSPECTIONS

Thermal Imaging can measure the infrared radiation being emitted from objects by detecting the temperature differentials. What does this mean for you? The thermal camera can supplement our visual inspection and help us detect possible hidden water entry in wall cavities, electrical faults, missing insulation, moisture intrusion, hidden roof leaks, plumbing leaks, and more. Please note that although Thermal Imaging is a great tool to help identify hidden problems in the home, it does not diagnose the problem and it is up to the inspector to determine the cause of such defects and to verify the thermal camera’s findings.

If there is a specific problem, such as a hidden leak, we may be able to conduct a standalone thermal inspection. The thermal inspection does not include any of our free warranties or RecallChek service unless we also perform a complete home inspection at the property.
